Board member Shane Roddy conducted a fact-finding mission to Costa Rica in June 2023. The objective was to explore the possibility of implementing MMM (Montero Medical Missions) projects in remote areas. This initiative has garnered significant interest, including from Dr. Amar Singh, an International Advisory Board Member and Chairman of the “Mental Health Global” project. While Costa Rica is renowned as a tourist destination and a desirable location for expatriates and retirees, it also has a population in need of assistance in its less developed regions. A comprehensive community needs assessment is currently underway, and experts from various locations within Costa Rica are actively participating to determine how they can contribute.
